Types of Homes

Foster families provide a temporary home for a child to live until such time that the child can safely be returned to their family. A child may be with a foster family for a day, or for years. Even after a child leaves a foster family home, there are wonderful relationships that blossom for years to come.

Fostering and Adopting is about providing life-long connections for children and youth.

Adoptive families provide a permanent home for a child. The child stays with their adoptive family forever – this lasts a lifetime!
