Across Languages Translation and Interpretation Service is a non-profit agency that provides services in more than seventy-five languages. Interpreters and translators assist physicians, hospitals, social workers, schools, police, provincial courts, community agencies, and other organizations in eliminating language barriers to communication and ensuring that services are more accessible to those who do not communicate effectively in English.
There are fees for service in Sarnia-Lambton, except in instances of organizations and government departments serving domestic violence victims (funding provided by the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration).
