√ Occasional care: Parents complete monthly calendars if possible. Some children attend full or part time.
√ Emergency Care: If work schedule changes, parents let school age staff know they need care. Parents can also leave message on answering machine
√ Flexible Hours: Very flexible - parents can call in morning when needing care and if there is an opening the children are welcome to come in.
Nutrition Information:
- Nutritious snacks and hot lunches are provided following the Canada Food Guide
- Cooking Club and Good Food Box monthly. Parents must pre-register.
- Peer snack program - children have opportunity to help prepare snacks and sample new foods
Children must be toilet trained: No
Serve children with special needs (e.g. physical disabilities, developmental delays, hearing, vision, speech problems, emotional difficulties): Yes. All children are welcome to attend the program. The Supervisor has an E.C.E. Resource Teacher Diploma.
