Ontario ABC is a volunteer parent organization which attempts to support parents of bright and gifted children and to advocate for the understanding of their needs. ABC believes that bright children deserve the opportunity to realize their potential as fully as possible.
There are local chapters throughout Ontario, with the closest one to Lambton County being in London. Membership is open to anyone interested in the needs of bright and gifted children.
The provincial organization focuses on the following:

provides information and relevant literature, programs and materials pertaining to the social, emotional and intellectual development of bright and gifted children/youth

acts as a network for parents and educators by providing opportunities for the sharing of information and common concerns

assists in establishing new chapters

represents ABC members in discussion with the Ministry of Education and monitors the implementation of legislation which could affect bright children
-
publishes the "ABC Newsmagazine" quarterly.
