The Arthritis Society is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to search for the underlying causes and subsequent cures for arthritis, and promote the best possible care and treatment for people with arthritis. There are over 150 forms of arthritis, including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Lupus, Scleroderma, Gout, Fibromyalgia, Juvenile Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Bursitis, Tendinitis, etc. 

Arthritis Rehabilitation and Education Program
 

Helping you manage your arthritis is at the heart of the therapy services offered by The Arthritis Society. Our physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers have advanced training in the management of arthritis. They are available to assess and provide a variety of services and ideas to assist people of all ages living with arthritis. The Arthritis Self-Management Program (ASMP)
 

ASMP gives you a chance to obtain new information, learn new skills, discuss new ideas, and network and share with others your experience of living with arthritis. The program runs for six weeks (2 hours per session) and is facilitated by our highly-trained volunteer leaders. Chronic Pain Management Seminars
 

Are designed to teach skills and strategies for managing pain to larger groups. Seminars are 2 hours in length. To book a chronic pain program for your group contact 1-866-466-0501 Ext. 240.

Speakers' Bureau and Displays
 

We can arrange for a speaker to come to your group to talk about arthritis, treatment services for people with arthritis and about The Arthritis Society. The presentation lasts about 1 hour and is entitled "Points on Joints". In addition, Arthritis Information Tables can be set up free of charge for your special event or gathering. 

Arthritis Education Forums
 

Provide you a more in-depth opportunity to enhance your knowledge on the latest in research, treatment and specific diseases. Call us for the dates of the next Arthritis Public Forum in the Sarnia/Lambton area.

Help is only a phone call away. Staffed by trained volunteers, many of whom have arthritis themselves, the Arthritis Support and Information Line is your one stop access centre. We have the answers, or can help you get them. Free information packages about arthritis are also distributed upon request. 

Sarnia/Lambton Chapter
 

We are always looking for leadership volunteers to help offer our services and support our critical fundraising activities. Volunteer-based chapters give you the opportunity to make a difference in your life and to give something back to your community.
